Week 3 of Connect: Paint It!

We’re back with another blog post for Week 3 of Connect: Paint It! This week we switched things up and took a small break from paint and worked with oil pastels.

For the activity, the kids were all given a canvas and oil pastels. They were given the option to do whatever they wanted with the pastels, but most of the kids stencilled their names and got creative with the background. We also took the opportunity to make use of our stencils and made some homemade cards with personalized stickers.

Overall, it was so cool to see the kids express themselves when given a different artistic medium to work with. They are all so creative in their own ways.
